PARK CITY SKI RESORT

Living in SLC I'm lucky enough to have seven ski resort less than an hour away from my house, and the best snow EVER to ski in.  Utahans eighter embrace the snow or hate it,  me I've learned to embrace it.....well most days.

Park City Ski Resort is an adventure that can be had many many times.  It's nestled between Canyons ski resort and Deer Valley Ski resort.  I LOVED every minute there . The ski day started on a Saturday that happened to be dropping big white puffy flakes from the sky.  I was sure the resort with me overly crowded with huge long lines and no fresh powder left,  but that wasn't the case. The little guy and I hit the terrain park, skied through the trees and raced each other down the mountain.

It took a good hour to get up to the resort from Salt Lake, mostly because it was a snowy Saturday (fresh pow+ weekends = very busy roads) I also wasn't expecting to have all the parking lots totally full but once we got on the lifts it was Heaven.  White fluffy snow, awesome runs, great food and the funnest ski buddy. It was a little over priced, but it is Park City so you pay the price to ski there, but it was totally worth it! I'm hoping to hit the slopes a couple more times this year.  I've yet to ski my beloved Brighton, I'm waiting for one of their sweet spring ski deals. What do you do in the Snow?

Till me meet again Park City Ski Resort.

THE CHOCOLATE a dessert cafe

Just by the name of this place you know it's bound to house something delightful. I was not disappointed.

Walking through the stained glass green door of this renovated little brick house the intoxicating smell of baking chocolate cake filled the air. With cute sitting areas throughout the whole house and many delicous baked goods I knew that this place would be perfect for a girls night or someplace your man could take you to be spoiled.

After salavating over everything I settled on this fruit tart, the fruit was fresh, the filling was divine and there was a party in my mouth.

The Chocolate cafe was charming, comfortable, reasonably priced with friendly employees. I would choose this place over a chain cafe any day. So go grab a friend or tell your hubby and let me know what you think.
